Stabbing Suspect Arrested
**UPDATE**
Homicide Detectives assigned to the Major Crimes Unit, identified Jonathon Serrano, a 22 year old Pomona resident as the suspect responsible for the stabbing of a Pomona Unified School District employee. Earlier this week, Serrano was located and arrested for the stabbing.
Today, during his arraignment, Serrano pled guilty for assault with a deadly weapon. He received a two year State prison term.

NARRATIVE:
Pomona police officers responded to the Pomona Unified School District Office regarding a victim of a stabbing. The victim, a PUSD employee, was walking to her vehicle when the suspect met her. The victim and suspect exchanged pleasantries. The suspect then stabbed the victim and ran from the location. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics. She was transported to the hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injuries.
