On the morning of April 1, 2015 at approximately 09:28 am the Burlington Fire and Police Departments responded to a report of motor vehicle accident at 1364 North Avenue, involving one vehicle which had rolled over and the occupant was trapped.
Upon arrival it was determined that there were three vehicles involved, with one vehicle which had come to a stop on its roof. The lone driver, a 62 year-old Colchester resident was removed by BFD personnel and was transported to the UVMMC for evaluation. She was treated and released.
At this time the investigation is on-going, but alcohol does not appear to be a factor. The Crash investigation unit will work to determine if speed, distraction or sleep deprivation are factors.
