Deputies Arrest a Las Vegas Man for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle

LOCATION: Anderson Dr / Academy St, Loma Linda
SUSPECT: Daniel Hemingway, 18 year old male, resident of Las Vegas
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at approximately 1:30 am, Deputy Nicassio was working patrol in the City of Loma Linda, when he saw a vehicle being driven recklessly. The deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver, later identified as Daniel Hemingway, ran from the vehicle and led Deputy Nicassio on a foot pursuit. Additional deputies responded to the area and were able to set up a perimeter. Daniel Hemingway was found hiding in a field.
The vehicle was found to be an unreported stolen vehicle. Hemingway was taken into custody without further incident, transported and booked into the Central Detention Center PC396D(a) Possession of Stolen Vehicle.
