Incidents 411 Reports 36

 

#019 Residential Burglary

Between 0950am and 228pm, unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the victim’s residence through the kitchen window on the 47000 block of Benns Ter.  The loss at the time of report was electronics and cash.

 

#021 Residential Burglary

Between 0915am and 130pm, unknown suspect(s) forced the side garage door open to a residence on the 3600 block of Darwin Dr.  The loss at the time of report was jewelry and cash.

 

#037 Disorderly Conduct

Officer Roberts was dispatched to a report of a disturbance between a father and son at Serra Pl.  Upon arrival, Roberts contacted the son (51 years old/Fremont) who was intoxicated, belligerent and appeared to have been in a physical confrontation.  No other parties were on scene.  The male was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to jail.

 

#002 Outside Assist

Officers were initially dispatched to a report of promiscuous shooting at Harvey Park.  Due to the recent integration of UCPD and FPD dispatch, Dispatcher Williams quickly realized that UCPD was responding to a shooting at a bar near Harvey Park.  Williams relayed timely information regarding the suspect vehicle description to all Fremont units.  Sgt. Romley located the vehicle at Automall and 880.  Romley followed the vehicle until other FPD officers arrived.   A felony car stop was conducted on Hwy 680 and two subjects were detained.  A witness positively identified one of the subjects and the vehicle as being involved in the shooting.  Ongoing investigation by UCPD.

#009 Possession of a Loaded Firearm Arrest

Officer Candler conducted a traffic stop near Lemke Pl and contacted a male (28 years old/Fremont).  The male is found to have a confirmed misdemeanor warrant and is arrested. The male is also on searchable probation for a drug conviction.  A search of his property yields a crank pipe as well as a loaded modified shotgun hidden in his car.  The shotgun’s serial number was altered.  The male was taken to jail and booked for various violations.

 

 

#019 Under the Influence Arrest

Officer Catassi is dispatched to a call where a man is running naked southbound on Fremont Bl near Sundale.  A male (26 years old/Fremont)is detained and later arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.  

 

#022 Family Disturbance

Officer Rose responded to the 41200 block of Via San Gabriel and took a report of a battery between a mother and her adult daughter.  No arrests were made. 

 

#033 Battery

Officer Valdes responded to Gomes Elementary school and took a report of a fight that occurred between two parents who were watching a little league game. No arrests were made.

 

 #036 Disturbance

Officers responded to Whitetail Ct. where a party was being held at a residence that had been rented for the day.  Over two hundred people were present and more were arriving.  It was learned that the person throwing the party had advertised on the internet and was charging admission.   The homeowner was contacted and the party was shut down. 

 

#041 Parole Violation / Possession of Methamphetamine

Officer Valdes observed a known male (34 years old/Fremont) near Mr. Mikey’s in Niles.  The male was arrested for outstanding warrants and possession of methamphetamine. 

 

#045 Robbery (Strong-Arm)

The victim met a female online and they agreed to meet for dinner at Pacific Commons.  After dinner, the two were in a verbal argument and the female became upset.  The female ultimately scratched the victim and stole the glasses off of his face.  She then fled northbound through the shopping complex prior to police arrival.  Investigated by Officer Liu. 

 

 

#005 Driving Under the Influence Arrest

A citizen called to report they had followed an impaired driver from the freeway to the area of Stevenson/Fremont Blvd.  Officer Chahouati located the vehicle just as it crashed in the area of Fremont Blvd/Eugene.  The female driver (32 years old) was determined to be driver under the influence and was arrested.  Investigated by Officer Soper.

#009 Warrant Arrest

Officer Francisco contacted a male (28 years old) at Motel 6 North and arrested him for his outstanding warrants.

 

#011 Under the Influence Arrest

Officer Rose made a pedestrian stop on a female (45 years old/Fremont) on Vallejo Way and arrested her for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

 

#014 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest

Officer Robinson conducted a warrant service in the 4100 block of Thornton Av.  A male was contacted in front of the residence and arrested for being in possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

#016 Disorderly Conduct Arrest

Officer Candler was dispatched to a possible battery on Second St in Niles.  A male (35 years old/Fremont) attempted to crash a baptism but was detained by a citizen until officers arrived.  Officer Candler arrested the male for public intoxication.

 

#023 and #025 Driving Under the Influence Arrest / Hit and Run Arrest

Officers were dispatched to the area of Mowry Ave and Cherry Ln due to a female (55 years old/Fremont) who was driving and collided with a curb and a vehicle before fleeing the area.  The victim in the first collision followed the female to the 7-11 at Mission Bl and Niles Bl before stopping.  The female kept driving and struck another vehicle near her residence.  Officers were able to contact her near the second collision and she was arrested for driving under the influence of prescription medication and hit and run.  Officers Tran, Nevin and Spear all assisted in the investigation.

 

#028 Suspicious Circumstance

Officer Candler took a report of several suspicious persons “shoulder surfing” attempting to get P.I.N. numbers from persons using the ATMs at Bank of America on Beacon Av.

 

#033 – Under the Influence Arrest

Officer T. Roberts conducted a pedestrian stop on a male (21 years old/Fremont) in the area of Thornton Av and Blacow Rd.  Officer Roberts arrested the male for being under the influence of narcotics. 

 

#035 – Driving Under the Influence Arrest

A citizen called in an erratic driver in the area of Mission Bl and Hwy 680.  Oficer Fuellenbach located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.  Officer Fuellenbach determined the male (25 years old/Fremont) was driving under the influence of alcohol and arrested him for same.
