Central Deputies are Asking for the Public's Help in Locating the Driver of a Vehicle that Led them on a Pursuit

LOCATION: Temple St./Waterman Avenue, San Bernardino
SUSPECT(S): Hispanic male and female
VICTIM(S): The State of California
SUMMARY: On Sunday, March 29, 2015, at 1:57 a.m., deputies from the Central Station conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, a white Ford F150 U-Haul pickup truck, for driving at night without its head lights on. The vehicle initially stopped at the North West corner of 9th St. and Watermen Ave, San Bernardino. The suspect/driver immediately exited the vehicle and the vehicle began to roll back towards the patrol unit. The suspect jumped back into the vehicle and fled from the traffic stop leading deputies on a pursuit. The suspect drove without regard for public safety running through controlled intersection at unsafe speeds, through the residential area. Deputies lost the fleeing vehicle in the area of 10th St. and Waterman Ave. after an approximate 3 minute pursuit. San Bernardino Police Department assisted and located the vehicle in an alley way between Temple St. and 10th St. where the suspect crashed and fled on foot.
