Increased Patrol Staffing Due to Cesar Chavez Holiday 
In anticipation of increased celebratory events surrounding Cesar Chavez Day, the San Luis Obispo Police Department will be increasing staffing leading up to and including Cesar Chavez Day which is on Tuesday, March 31, 2015. The additional police officers will proactively patrol neighborhoods and commercial areas to address any disturbances or large gatherings surrounding the event. Officers will conduct strict enforcement with zero tolerance for violations.
