This past week in Zone 8, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:
An attempt commercial burglary occurred near the 17800 block of Danielson Street. Person(s) unknown damaged the victims wood garage door while attempting to make entry. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A vehicle burglary occurred near the intersection of Lakecrest Avenue and Goodvale Road. Person(s) unknown smashed the passenger side window and made entry. It is unknown if anything was taken. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
An attempt vehicle burglary occurred near the 16600 block of Nearview Street. Person(s) unknown attempted to make forced entry into the victims vehicle but was unsuccessful. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A petty theft occurred near the 27900 block of Solamint Road. Person(s) unknown stole the victims lawn chair from the front of the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A shoplifting occurred near the 26900 block of Sierra Highway. Two suspects entered the location and filled their shopping cart with $120 worth of store merchandise and left the location without paying. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
