Cloverdale Bank Robbery Suspect at Large
Putnam County – Just after 1:30 this afternoon, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a bank robbery that had just occurred at Our Community Bank in Cloverdale, located at 102 South Main Street.
The suspect has been identified as Thomas A. Baker, 43 of Cloverdale. Baker is a white male, last seen wearing a dark colored T-shirt, blue jeans and a black jacket. He was also wearing a black toboggan and eyeglasses.
Baker did display a handgun in his waistband to bank personnel at the time of the robbery. He was observed leaving the bank in what’s been described as a silver early 2000’s four door Saturn.
The Cloverdale Police Department, the Putnam County Sheriff's Department along with the FBI is ISP assisting in this case. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Thomas Baker is encouraged to call the Indiana State Police at the Putnamville Post at (765) 653-4114 and speak to Detective Don Curtis.
All Suspects Are Presumed Innocent Until Proven Guilty in a Court of Law.
