UPDATE: Sepulveda Blvd is now open.

On March 25, 2015, at 4:50am, Manhattan Beach Police Officers responded to the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard at 6^th Street regarding a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.  The pedestrian, who was a contractor working on street repairs, sustained serious injuries.  The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries.  Both the driver and the pedestrian were transported to local hospitals for treatment. 

The Manhattan Beach Police Department’s Traffic Division Investigators are at the scene to determine the cause of the collision.  Northbound Sepulveda Blvd., from Artesia Boulevard to 8^th Street remains closed due to the ongoing investigation.  Estimated time of reopening of Sepulveda Blvd is 9:00a.m. Currently, there is a Sig Alert in place.
