This afternoon, around 4:35 PM, the Arcadia Police Department received a call of a suspicious man exiting a vehicle and walking out of view into the yard of a residence in the area of Norman Ave and Lovell Ave.  An Arcadia Police Officer arrived in the area in less than a minute and detained the driver of the vehicle.  A perimeter was established and two suspects were located on foot in the area.  A second suspicious vehicle was located in the immediate area and the driver of that vehicle was also detained. 

Preliminary investigation by Arcadia Officers determined that the four suspects detained were conspiring to burglarize nearby homes.

The four suspects arrested are:

     Marquise Iswan Hulse, 20 years old from Los Angeles

     Ardis Rico Prez, 19 years old from Hawthorne

     Tamiya Mariean Cole, 22 years old from Los Angeles

     Rainee Danielle Boyd, 20 years old from Los Angeles

All four suspects were booked for attempted residential burglary.  They are currently being held in lieu of $50,000 bail in the Arcadia City Jail.

The Arcadia Police Department wants to thank our citizens for calling us when they see something, or someone, unusual or out of the ordinary.  This is the second time in less than a week where a resident has called about suspicious activity, resulting in multiple suspects being arrested for attempted residential burglary.  We ask our community to continue to be vigilant and to keep calling when you see suspicious activity or people in your neighborhood.  Remember, If you “See Something, Say Something.”
