Advisory

Protection For Fumigated Homes In Bellflower

While we have not noticed an increase in burglaries to fumigated homes in the City, our SAO team is trying to be proactive in order to make sure this crime does not spike. We have the "FumeAlert" system here in Bellflower, which our SAO team will come out and install on home that makes a request. The "FumeAlert" system consists of sensors that we install at your fumigated home. When the sensors are triggered from a presumed burglar entering the residence, Lakewood Sheriff Station is immediately notified and Deputies are dispatched for a burglary in progress. We have had a tremendous amount of success with this program and are hoping more of our residents will take advantage of it. As it stands, we only have one unit, as we are a small city. If you would like the "FumeAlert" system installed in your fumigated home, please contact us with at least one week of advance notice.
