The Sonoma County Coroner's Office is releasing the name of the man killed last night in the Sonoma Valley.
The deceased was identified as Ronald Gordon Sauvageau, a 64 year old man from Cazadero. His family was located and notified of his death.
An autopsy will be conducted on Tuesday to determine the cause and manner of his death.
Detectives from the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office Violent Crimes unit are the lead investigators in the homicide case.
