Carson Sheriff's Station hosted it's first-ever Spanish Speaking Civilian Academy! Captain Chris Marks kicked off the first session of class by greeting the Spanish speaking residents of Carson explaining the purpose and goals of the academy. The Spanish academy is an eight week session that includes speakers from the Sheriff's department specialized units and field trips to the Los Angeles County Jail and Sheriff Communications Center.
