On March 19, 2015 at approximately 8:28pm, officers were dispatched to a wreck at SE 16th Ave and S Canyon Dr WFR. The vehicle, a white 1992 Ford F150, was driven by Ty Dewayne Reynolds, WM, 22. The vehicle was also occupied by a female passenger, Christy Ann Vandamme, WF, 22. The vehicle was traveling Eastbound on SE 16th Ave and crossed S Canyon Dr West Frontage Road striking the overpass wall of Canyon Dr. The female was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The male was pronounced dead at the scene. Speed was a factor in this collision. An autopsy was order by Judge Herman. This incident is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Department.
