On March 18, 2015 at approximately 5:10 PM, officers were dispatched to the 4100 block of I-27 south bound frontal road on a single motor vehicle rollover accident. Responding officers found that a 2012 Toyota Camry had been southbound on Canyon Drive. The driver Luan Thanh Nguyen AM age 25 lost control for an unknown reason. He left the roadway, crossed the grassy median, and struck a cement light pole base at a car dealership. The car rolled over after impact. A juvenile passenger was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Another juvenile passenger was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Nguyen and passenger Khanh-Trang Tran Pham AF age 28 were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries also. The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Dept.
