#012 Theft Attempt
Officer Magana was dispatched to an Equipment Rental business located on the 2100 block of Warm Springs Court. According to the reporting party, a gold colored station wagon pulled into the rental yard and may have been preparing / plotting to steal some equipment. Employees call dispatch and officers flood the area but were met with negative results. Incident documented.
Vandalism Cases # 005, 006, 007, 008, 009, 012, 024
Overnight several businesses and buildings in the City's Downtown area were vandalized by an unknown suspect who used a rock to smash windows. The first call was reported at approximately 1:39 a.m. An alarm company's security notified dispatch of a glass break at Plaza Real. Officers arrived on scene and located a total of four businesses that had been vandalized. Shortly after responding to this call, the overnight staff at Target called to report an unknown male had thrown rocks at the back door of the business about five minutes prior. Later in the morning employees arriving to work discovered vandalism to three additional businesses. A total of seven cases appear related. No suspect information, but officers are following up to see if any businesses have video.
