IH #1861 Warrant Arrest
Officer Sasser conducted a warrant service on Inyo Ct and arrested a 27 year old adult male for an outstanding warrant.
IH #1947 Warrant Arrest
Officer Sasser conducted a pedestrian stop at Bank of the West on Mowry Ave and arrested an adult male for an outstanding warrant.
#015 Burglary and Possession of Burglary Tools and Counterfeit Money
At 12:07 p.m., Officer Catassi and Officer Baca were dispatched to Target at The Hub for a 29 year old adult male, Fremont resident, who was resisting security guards after they detained him for stealing items from the store. Officer Catassi searched the suspect person and located a magnet used to defeat the locking mechanisms at Target, counterfeit money, and a bank statement that did not belong to him. The male was arrested for burglary, possession of burglary tools and counterfeit money, and appropriation of lost property.
#023 Public Intoxication Arrest
At approximately 3:25 p.m., Officer Dodson responded to the report of a female who was lying in the bushes by the intersection of Fremont Blvd and Stevenson Blvd. A 59 year old adult female was found to be intoxicated again. She was arrested and transported to jail.
#020 Warrant Service
Officer Bordy and Officer Kindorf conducted a vehicle stop at Osgood Rd. and Auto mall Pkwy. The adult male was found to have a $2500 misdemeanor traffic warrant. The male was arrested and transported to Jail.
#026 Warrant Service
At approximately 4:35 p.m., Officer Stillitano conducted a pedestrian stop near Liberty and Capitol in the Downtown area. A 29 year old adult male, Newark resident, was found to have a $10K warrant for vehicle code violations. He was arrested and transported to jail.
#029 Warrant Service
At approximately 6:00 p.m., Officer Hartman contacted a 27 year old adult female, Fremont resident, on the 4900 block of Seneca Park Loop who had a $5K warrant for a drug related violation. She was arrested and taken to jail.
#039 Brandishing a Weapon, Possession of a Concealed Dirk or Dagger and Possession of more than 28.5 grams of Marijuana
At approximately 9:00 p.m., a 39 year old adult male was panhandling at Safeway 5 Corners. A Safeway employee contacted him and told him to leave the property. In response the male brandished a 6” chrome hunting knife at the employee. At that time, a customer then approached and told him he was going to call the police. The male then brandished the knife against the customer and eventually fled on foot prior to police arrival. Officer Forsberg and FTO Macciola investigated the case and later sent out an alert to the rest of the patrol with a suspect description. Officer Collins recognized the suspect description and advised Officer Forsberg of a possible suspect who was positively identified in a lineup by the victim. Officer Collins later located the 29 year old adult male suspect walking along Auto Mall Pkwy. The male was contacted and found to be concealing the fixed blade knife in his boot. Officer Forsberg and FTO Macciola responded and arrested the male for the weapons violation and wrapped up the case.

#007 Driving without a License Arrest
At 8:51 a.m., Officer Bordy and Officer Kindorf conducted a traffic stop at Warm Springs Blvd and Brown Rd cited/arrested a 31 year old adult male, Fremont resident, for driving without a license.
#005 Public Intoxication Arrest
At 6:03 a.m., Officer Catassi and Officer Baca were dispatched to WTH for an intoxicated male who would not leave the premises. A 60 year old adult male, Newark resident, was contacted and arrested for being drunk in public.
#018 Suspended Driver’s License
Officer Richards conducted a vehicle stop at Cabrillo Ct. and Cabrillo Dr. The driver was contacted and found to have a suspended license. A 34 year old adult male, Richmond resident, was cited and released at the scene.
#028 Suspended Driver’s License
Officer Chan conducted a vehicle stop at Grimmer Blvd. and Osgood Rd. An adult female was found to have been driving with a suspended license. She was cited and released at the scene.
#020 Warrant Arrest
At 3:25 p.m., Officer Catassi and FTO Dennis Baca conducted a follow-up to a missing phone investigation. The owner had his missing phone pinged which showed it was located at an address in the 4400 Block of Porter. Officer Catassi assembled a search team and a probation search was conducted. During the search, the phone was recovered and an 18 year old adult male was arrested for his outstanding no bail warrant.
Non-permitted Special Event in Niles
At approximately 6:00 p.m., we received word of a large car show at Niles Bl. and J Street. We found that there were in excess of 100 plus vehicles on display and a large gathering of attendees. Sergeant Cortes monitored the event until its conclusion. The event was peaceful with only one caller who complained about a vehicle driving recklessly. The event organizer was previously told that a special event permit was required and staff found advertisement information that the event is planned once a month for the next several months. Special event staff will be following up on this.
#032 Possession of Ecstasy
At approximately 11:00 p.m., Officer Montojo and FTO Stillitano conducted a traffic stop on an 18 year old adult female in the area of Fremont Blvd. and Grimmer Blvd. and arrested her for possession of Ecstasy.
#033 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
At 11:26 p.m., Officer Hernandez conducted a traffic stop on a 51 year old adult male, Fremont resident in the 370000 block of Fremont Blvd., and arrested him for possessing drug paraphernalia.
#003 Possession of Methamphetamine
At about midnight Officer Han and FTO Valdez conducted a traffic stop on a 38 year old adult female, Newark resident, in the 3900 block of Washington Blvd. and arrested her for possessing and being under the influence of methamphetamine.
#004 Driving without a License Arrest
At 1:20 a.m., Officer Liu conducted a traffic stop on a 20 year old adult male, Sunol resident, and arrested him for driving without a license.
#007 Sideshow Activity
At approximately 1:30 a.m., Officer Soper observed multiple vehicles partaking in a sideshow in the parking lot of Cloverleaf Bowl. A 20 year old adult male, Marina resident, was arrested and his vehicle was towed.
#008 DUI Collision
At 2:25 a.m., a 24 year old adult male, Fremont resident, drove his pickup truck into a tree near Auto Mall and Technology Dr. Officer Liu investigated and arrested the male driver for DUI.
#010 Public Intoxication
At 2:45 a.m., an employee at Denny's (Mowry Ave) called to report a female was causing a disturbance by yelling obscenities at employees and customers. A 36 year old adult female was contacted and determined to be drunk in public. Officer N. Johnson placed the female under arrest and booked her into Santa Rita County Jail.

#011 Possession of a Dangerous Weapon
At approximately 7:50 a.m., Officer Perry made a car stop in the area of Sundale Dr. and Logan Dr. and arrested a 32 year old adult male, Union City resident, for possession of a police ASP. He was subject to search and seizure for drug related offenses. He was booked at Santa Rita
#031 Suspended License Arrest
Officer Elopre and Officer Dodson conducted a vehicle stop at Fremont Blvd. and Eugene St. The 44 year old adult male, Fremont resident, was found to have been driving with a suspended driver’s license. The male was cited and released at the scene.
#032 Driving w/o a License
At approximately 7:10 p.m., Officer Richards conducted a traffic stop at Coronado Dr. and Alvarado Ave. A male juvenile was found to have been driving without a driver’s license. He was subsequently cited and released at the scene.
#003 Possession of Methamphetamine
At approximately 3:00 a.m., Officer Forsberg and FTO Chahouati conducted a pedestrian stop on a 42 year old adult male, Milpitas resident, in the area of the 5000 block of Stevenson Blvd. and arrested him for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
