On behalf of the Clayton County Sheriff's Office, I extend our deepest condolences to Chief Greg Porter and his department for the loss of Officer Darryl Wallace of Sector 3. Our sympathy and prayers are also foremost with the family of Darryl Wallace.
This is a loss not only for our Clayton County law-enforcement family, but a huge loss for the county of Clayton because this county has lost one of its great and promising young defenders.
The Clayton County Police Department is to be commended for being able to carry on its responsibility of defending Clayton County, to include assisting the Sheriff's Office with a warrant round up despite grieving their loss and making arrangements to honor this young brave warrior. Let all of us who make up this great community, agree to show the Clayton County Police Department how much we love and appreciate them for their service during their time of bereavement.
