Grant County Deputy unhurt when his patrol car hits a deer
BEVERLY, Wash. (14MAR2015) - A Grant County Sheriff’s Deputy on his way to his office in Ephrata avoided injury Friday morning when his patrol car struck a deer about eight miles north of Mattawa.
Deputy Keith Edie was driving north on State Route 243 South near Wanapum Village Lane Southwest around 6:45 a.m. when he struck the deer which had run onto the highway. The deer was killed.
Edie’s 2006 Ford Crown Victoria patrol car sustained front end damage. No other vehicles were involved.
