On Saturday 3/14/15 the Town of Morristown will be hosting the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. The parade will commence at 12pm from 200 South St (opposite Kings Market) with the route traveling west on South St., around the Morristown Green, west on Washington St and ending in the Morristown High School lot on Atno Ave.
Westbound Traffic on South Street will be detoured at Hamilton Rd. and all roads intersecting South Street will be detoured during the parade.
All roadways approaching the Green will also be closed and detours will be in effect.
Washington Street will be closed to eastbound traffic at Mills Street
Speedwell Ave (Rt. 202) southbound will be closed at Spring street to through traffic.
Morris Street westbound will be closed at Spring St.
Market Street will be closed at Maple Ave
All detours and road closures will take effect at 1130am and should be completed by 300pm. Expect heavy congestion and traffic in and around the Morristown center and plan alternate routes if possible. Please allow yourself adequate time if you are planning on attending the parade. Thank you.
