Sonoma County Sheriff Coroner’s Office is releasing the name of the other driver who died in the vehicle collision on the afternoon of March 9, 2015 in the 3000 block of River Road of Santa Rosa.
The deceased is identified as Joseph Giancola, Jr., a 27 year old man from Santa Rosa. His family was located and informed of his death.
The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of his death.
The California Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the vehicle collision and related deaths.
