Oakland, CA – At 3:30 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2015, the Oakland Police Department arrested Anthony Sims, 19, for murder in connection with the homicide of Chyemil Pierce, 30, who was shot and killed on Monday, March 9, 2015 in the 2800 block of Chestnut Street. The Alameda County District Attorney’s Office has charged Sims with murder in the case.
