Theft Arrests

(Etowah County, Alabama) Two individuals have been arrested and charged in connection to theft of property, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

“Emanuel Jaycory Jacarr Thomas, 25, of Rainbow City, and Arthur Jerome Thomas, 23, of Gadsden, are each charged with two counts of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle, one count of second degree theft of property, all are felonies, and one count of third degree theft of property, which is a misdemeanor,” investigator Tyler St. Clair said.

The duo allegedly broke into and stole property from vehicles parked at several residences on Wilson Circle, Whorton Bend. The incidents took place on March 10, 2015.

The investigation is ongoing concerning vehicle break-ins and thefts in the same area that took place during the week of March 1 – 7, 2015. It is unknown at this time if the Thomas suspects are connected to the earlier thefts.

Both men are currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $8,500 bond.
