HCSO K9s take top three spots at K9 competition 
(HOUSTON, TX) - Congratulations to the HCSO's Sgt. Chris Moore and his K9 partner Ziko (pictured) for taking the number one spot at Sunday's Hard Dog/ Fast Dog Competition at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
K9 Ziko's top speed was 30 mph.
Coming in at second and third place where the HCSO's Deputy Tim Lauder and his K9 partner Baddy whose top speed was 26 mph; and Deputy Dan Kerrigan and his K9 partner Bailey.
A total of 12 dogs from area law enforcement agencies competed.

The competition measured the speed at which the K9s caught a suspect (decoy) and how hard the bite on the take down was.
This is the first time such a competition was featured at the HLS&R. Thanks to K9s4Cops!
