Sonoma County Sheriff Coroner’s Office is releasing the name of the person who died when the vehicle he was working under fell upon him.
The accident happened at a residence in the 4900 block of Spring Hill Road, in an area of west Sonoma County, in the afternoon of March 9, 2015.
The deceased is identified as Robert Smith, a 74 year old man from Petaluma. His family was located and informed of his death.
The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of Smith’s death.
