Register today for a free California-Friendly Landscape Training on April 9 ... Space is limited!

Come join your neighbors for a free landscape training to help you become a more water-wise gardener! The "California-Friendly Landscape Training" is geared for residential customers and will take place on Thursday, April 9 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Chula Vista Civic Branch Library (365 F Street). The training is sponsored by Sweetwater Authority and hosted by the City of Chula Vista.

Specific training topics will include:
• Using a holistic approach to gardening
• Building a living soil sponge
• Rethinking elements of your site
• Right plant, right place
• Using rainwater as a resource
• Rebates & financing for water saving projects
• Managing irrigation

Additionally, low-flow shower heads and faucet aerators will be provided at no-cost to help you start saving water inside your home immediately!
