On March 06, 2015, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Turlock Police Department arrested 60 year-old Robin Duane Boyer, from Turlock, for the murder of Brandon Pacheco which occurred in July 2013. The arrest was made after an arrest warrant was issued by a Stanislaus County magistrate. Boyer was arrested during a traffic stop in the 2700 block of W. Main Street in Turlock, and he was booked in Stanislaus County Jail without incident.

The Turlock Police Department will not be releasing additional information regarding the investigation. This case has been filed with the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office.

UPDATE: Shooting – 1100 Block of Dianne Drive

The deceased subject involved in Tuesday morning's shooting has been identified as Brandon Pacheco (25 years old) from Turlock, CA.

On July 23, 2013, at approximately 7:56 a.m., Turlock Police Department officers and medical personnel responded to the 1100 block of Dianne Drive on the report of a shooting that had just occurred. When officers arrived, they located a 25 year-old, White male, deceased in a nearby field with gunshot wounds to the head.

The on-going investigation revealed that the deceased subject had been seen trespassing into private property on several previous occasions by the homeowner, later identified to be Robin Boyer, 58 years old. Today the deceased subject was seen by Boyer gathering items from his property. Boyer confronted the subject and an altercation occurred in which Boyer shot the 25 year-old male.

No arrest has currently been made as a result of this investigation which is continuing and will be reviewed by the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office.
