Advisory

Torrance PD will be replacing Nixle with a new notification system called #TorranceAlerts

The City of Torrance is now using TorranceAlerts!  TorranceAlerts is a mass emergency notification system that enables citizens to receive informational messages from the City. The system will be utilized to inform the community of both emergency and non-emergency information. TorranceAlerts is a free service provided by the City to help make sure you have the information you need when you need it.

The Torrance Police Department will now be using TorranceAlerts in place of Nixle for notifications of natural disasters, public health concerns, traffic advisories, community messages, crime bulletins, etc.

Sign up and customize your settings to choose what kind of information you want and the method by which you want to receive messages. You can also download the Everbridge Mobile Member app on your smart phone to stay updated.
