Trash collection 
Republic Services has contacted the City regarding No Trash Service on Thursday, March 5th, 2015. This was due to the fact that their trucks run out of their Desoto, Illinois landfill location where they received five inches of snow and ice. Due to that fact, trash collection for Thursday could not be done and will be delayed by one day.
Collection that would have been done on Thursday March 5th, will be collected on Friday, March 6th, as well as the normal Friday routes.
There will be NO Delay to the Friday Routes.
Please continue to place your containers where you currently receive trash pickup.
