The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting the R.A.D (Rape Aggression Defense) class at Hendry Park School on April 7, 8 and 9th from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. This class is being offered to women and their daughters 12 years old and older.

R.A.D is not a martial arts program. R.A.D is a practical self-defense course which teaches risk avoidance, and escape techniques. The instructors are Cpl. Brad Kline, Adam Miller and Officer Darin Taylor, who have been through specialized training for this course. The course includes a brief lecture, two nights of practicing techniques, and the last night is a simulation.

There is a $20.00 deposit needed, which is returned the last night of class. There are no physical limitations to participate. Class size is limited.
