Winter Storm Update:

Change to snow tonight… rain showers and relatively milder conditions continue for today. However, a big change is on the way for tonight and Thursday as colder air works into the region. The rain will mix and turn to sleet and snow by early overnight and will eventually turn to all snow during the pre-dawn hours.

The bulk of the snow accumulation will fall during the day,Thursday with the colder temps in place, tapering off by early evening. A hard freeze will follow for Thursday night with clearing skies. The snow confidence numbers seem to vary from site to site. What we do know is that this should be a plowable snow event. Once we get underway we'll try to update with some live road reports especially before the morning rush. This will be available on our social media sites.
