On Tuesday March 3, 2015 The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit along with the assistance of The US Marshal’s Task Force, Clayton County Police Department K-9 and College Park Police Department Detectives apprehended Fernando Cartavious Bennefield at 2700 Camp Creek Parkway in College Park.
Bennefield was the second subject wanted for a Murder that occurred October 3, 2014 in College Park. This incident involved the victim being shot several times in the buttocks area and later died from his injuries. The first subject Marquis Antonio Acree was arrested February 19, 2015 in College Park by College Park Police Department.
Fernando Bennefield is the suspected shooter. There are no other outstanding subjects at this time. Attached are the two photos of both subjects. Sheriff Victor Hill.
