3/3/15, press release: Motor Vehicle/Police Impersonation

On 03/03/15 appx 1832 hrs I was dispatched to the area of Gosse Ct and North Avenue for a male advising he had been pulled over by an unidentified police officer. Upon arrival caller advised a male inside of a blue pickup truck was located behind him had followed him from North Ave. Caller advised the male approached when he stopped his vehicle and identified himself as a police officer. The caller advised the male had brandished a handgun from the inside of his jacket and refused to provide a name or any other identifiers. Caller advised the male, with firearm in hand, attempted to order him and his passenger out of the vehicle and demanded his driver’s license.

Caller stated he refused to exit the vehicle and called for assistance, male returned to his truck.
Male described as: white male approximately 50-60 years old, wearing glasses, blue jeans and a brown coat carrying a handgun.

Vehicle described as: 2dr blue truck with a cap on the bed, unk make/model/registration.
Male/vehicle was GOA with no further description or direction of travel.

It should be noted that the caller stated the male was in plain clothes, would not provide a police badge or identification and his vehicle had no markings of police or any other emergency related vehicle.
