SUSPECT 2: ORTIZ, GABRIELA BERNICE, 19 year old City of San Jose Resident (in custody)
SUSPECT 3: BEJARANO, RODRIGO, 22 year old City of San Jose Resident (in-custody)
DETAILS:
Gilroy Police Detectives have identified a third suspect in this investigation. A warrant was obtained for the arrest 22 year old Rodrigo Bejarano for the murder of Robert Heiser. This warrant has been served while Bejarano was in custody on an unrelated matter.
Investigators continue to follow up on leads that will lead them to 17 year-old Isabella Chaidez, also wanted in connection to this murder.
During the morning hours of February 16, 2017, Isabella Chaidez and Gabriella Ortiz were captured on a convenience store surveillance video with property belonging to the deceased. Ortiz remains in custody at the Santa Clara County Jail.
