The Deal Police Department is currently monitoring more winter weather which is moving into our area and will begin later this afternoon. A mix of snow, changing to freezing rain and rain, then back to snow will make travel hazardous over the next 36-48 hours. As with so many of our winter weather events this season the exact snowfall totals will be greatly effected by the timing of the cold air. Estimates from 1 inch to 11 inches are being discussed by the National Weather Service. This information is provided as situational awareness for our residents so you may make travel and other plans early and avoid hazardous conditions. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
