Fontana Deputies Arrest a Man for the Burglary of a Shop and Go Market in Bloomington 
DATE/TIME: March 1, 2015 / 4:42 a.m.
INCIDENT: PC 459 Commercial Burglary
LOCATION: Shop and Go Market, 11636 Cedar Avenue, Bloomington
SUSPECT: Luis Stringer, 49 years old, resident of Bloomington
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 4:42 am, deputies from the Fontana Station were dispatched to the Shop and Go Market in Bloomington reference a subject breaking into the business. Deputies were advised the suspect entered through the roof of the business and the suspect was still inside attempting to climb back out through the roof. The suspect fell several times while attempting to exit through the roof causing major property damage. Deputies arrived on scene and were assisted by Fontana Police Department. The deputies and police officers set up a perimeter around the business and took the suspect into custody when he exited the business through the roof.
The suspect was identified as Luis Stringer. Stringer was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for commercial burglary. The business owners estimated the damage to be more than $40,000.00.
