Details:
On 03/01/2015 at approximately 9:00 pm, Gilroy Police Officers responded to the St Louise Regional Hospital Emergency Room for a report of a stabbing victim that had been transported by a private party. The victim walked into the emergency room with a single non-life threatening stab wound to his upper. He was later transported to a south bay area trauma center for additional treatment.
The victim reported that the incident occurred on or about the 400 Block of Lewis Street. Officers responded to this particular area and secured a crime scene.
This incident may have been motivated by gang affiliation and has been assigned the Anti-Crime Team for further investigation. The motive for the stabbing is yet to be determined.
