Wabash County – Recently, a criminal investigation by Indiana State Police Detective Josh Rozzi resulted in the arrest of Joseph Young, 56, 85 Redbud Circle, Anderson IN. Young surrendered at the Wabash County Jail where he was served a Wabash Circuit Court arrest warrant alleging two felony counts for child molestation. He was incarcerated with a $50,000 surety bond, plus $250.00.
Detective Rozzi started an investigation after receiving information from the Wabash County Division of the Indiana Department of Child Services that a Wabash County girl had possibly been molested. Detective Rozzi’s investigation revealed that Young had allegedly committed sexual acts with a then 6-year-old Wabash County girl. The sex acts purportedly occurred on multiple occasions in the fall of 2010. Young was living in Wabash County at the time the alleged crimes occurred.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
