On Saturday February 28th at 9:06pm, APD officers were dispatched to the 500 block SW 2nd on a delayed robbery report. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim, B/M 58 years old. The victim stated that around 8:30pm, he was in his apartment when he heard a knock on the door. He went to open the door and recognized a male acquaintance at the door. As the victim allowed the male to enter his residence, another male subject had come up behind him, pointed a gun to his head and forced him back inside the apartment. The suspect then demanded money from the victim. The acquaintance then reached inside the victim’s front pocket and pulled out an undisclosed amount of cash. The two suspects then forced the victim into the bathroom and they left the apartment. The suspects are only described as B/M’s in their 20’s and were possibly driving a light colored 4 door car. The victim was not injured.
