Police activity near and on 24 at 51st St and MLK 
At about 7:30pm, Oakland police officers attempted to detain a suspected auto burglary suspect within the 4700 block of Shattuck. The suspect fled on foot and ran onto the nearby Highway 24 51st Street off-ramp. Officers are on-scene attempting to safely stop traffic, set a perimeter and search for a suspect.
