On Sunday, January 25, 2015, at approximately 7:20 pm, a fight involving several people took place on the grounds of the New Horizons condo complex located in the 27600 block of Susan Beth Way in the Saugus area of Santa Clarita.
During the course of the altercation, a 15-year-old male juvenile was stabbed in the abdomen. He was transported to a local area hospital and survived the incident. This incident appears to have started on social media, which later led to the parties meeting at the condo complex where a fight ensued.
Detectives assigned to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station COBRA Team have been investigating this incident for a number of months. In order to confirm detectives have spoken to all possible witnesses prior to presenting the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating possible witnesses to the fight.
