Suspect approaches female with gun and takes purse
On Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 6:40 PM, the female victim was walking home along the south sidewalk of Redondo Beach Blvd when she observed the suspect vehicle parked along the south curb, facing east. As she got closer to the vehicle, Suspect- 1 exited the vehicle and approached the victim, pointed a handgun at her, grabbed her crotch, ordered her to get in the vehicle, pushed her and forcibly took her purse when she fell to the ground. The suspect then got back in the vehicle and fled.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Suspect-1: Hispanic male adult, in his mid-20s, 5’5”- 5’08” tall, 150-180 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, mustache, wearing a dark shirt and blue and white shorts. Suspect-1 was armed with a black, semi-auto handgun. See composite drawing of Suspect-1 in bulletin. Suspect-2: Hispanic male adult, no further description given.
