Detective Billie Brown of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Cameron LaRay Moore, 22, of Butchers Branch Road in Old Fort with seven felony counts of statutory rape; Eugene Bernard Carson, 26, of John Gilkey Road in Old Fort, with four felony counts of statutory rape; Gregory Antonio Quitman, 22, of Cedar Drive in Marion, with two felony counts of statutory rape; and Chad Marcus Logan, 25, of Black Mountain, with one felony count of statutory rape.
Investigators received information on Feb. 8 that the four suspects had inappropriate sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl that some of them met on Facebook.
The alleged incidents began in August 2014.
