Suspect removes two iPhones from local business

On Monday, January 12, 2015, at 8:15 PM, the suspect entered

STAPLES, located at 22025 Hawthorne Blvd, walked directly to the iPhone display containing two iPhones and asked an employee questions regarding the phones.  The suspect walked away briefly, returned and by unknown means disabled the alarm attached to the iPhones.  He removed the two phones from the display, walked down the aisle, selected a briefcase from a display rack and concealed the two iPhones inside the briefcase.  The suspect then walked to the registers located near the front of the store, briefly waited by the cash registers while holding the briefcase, removed the two phones from the briefcase and exited the store without paying.

 

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: White male adult, 40-50 years, 5’09”-5’11” , 190-210 lbs, blonde, short hair, unshaven, wearing a black long sleeve shirt, khaki pants and tan shoes.

 

SUSPECT VEHICLE: None seen or heard
