The Torrance Police Department will host the 35th Partners in Policing (PIP) Class starting March, 26, 2015.  PIP offers community members the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of a Torrance Police Officer and the opportunity to learn the inner-workings of your police department.

Participants will hear from a wide variety of details within the Torrance Police Department, including K-9, Forensics, Traffic, SWAT and many others.

The program consists of 12 sessions, meeting every Thursday night from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, beginning Thursday, March 26, 2015 and concluding on Thursday, June 11, 2015.

PIP class is open to all those who reside or work in Torrance, and anyone else who has an affiliation with the City (i.e.; student in Torrance, member of a church in Torrance, member of a civic organization based in Torrance such as Kiwanis, Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, etc).  Participants must be 18 or older.  Registration for this class fills up quickly.

You will be notified via email approximately one week before class starts if you are accepted into the PIP class.
