On Saturday February 21st at 1:00pm, APD officers were sent to the 7700 block of I-40 West on a personal robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival officers spoke with a W/F 31 who stated that she had arrived to the parking lot a few minutes earlier for her shift at work. As she was getting out of the vehicle she was met at the door or her car by a B/M in his late 20’s. The B/M demanded the victim hand over a plastic bag she was carrying along with her satellite radio that was sitting on the console of her vehicle. The suspect took these items and ran to a light colored sedan and left the area. The suspect is further described as being 6’, 200 pounds and was wearing black shorts, a dark colored shift and a blue hoodie. No weapon was seen or displayed. The victim was not injured.
