SHOOTING AT FRANKLIN BLVD AND E. BOLTON AVE

The Absecon Police is investigating a shooting that occurred at the intersection of Franklin Blvd and E. Bolton Ave. At approximately 11:44 PM, Friday night February 20, 2015, the Absecon Police Department received a 911 call in regards to shots fired at the intersection. Upon the police departments arrival to the area, several pieces of physical evidence was located to indicate a person or persons had fired a weapon. The area was checked and no victims were located. No vehicles or houses were damaged either. One witness stated a vehicle headed west on Bolton Ave towards Shore Rd but this person was unable to provide a description of the vehicle. The police department is following up on several leads at the time of this report. This is the second shooting in three days in the city. The other shooting occurred on Tuesday February 17 in the Absecon Village, just off California Ave. No injuries were reported in this incident.
