Missing Boy in Fallbrook Found Safe

Trae Hornsveld was found safe near his home around 10:15 p.m. A Sheriff's Deputy with the Fallbrook Sheriff's Substation found him on Reche Road. Trae is okay. Juvenile Detectives will be speaking with Trae then reunite him with his mother.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE

If you live in Fallbrook, be aware of increased law enforcement activity in your area as Sheriff's Search and Rescue look for a missing boy.

Be on the lookout for 11-year-old Trae Hornsveld. He snuck out of his bedroom window after having an argument with his mother. He was last seen in the 2800 block of Reche Road sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20th.

Trae is a missing person at risk because of his young age and he needs to take his medication.

Trae was last seen possibly wearing a blue UCLA sweatshirt or light blue polo shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes. Trae is 5'3" tall, weighs 80 pounds, has black curly hair and brown hair. He also has braces on his lower teeth.

Sheriff's Search and Rescue has been activated in the search for Trae. A command post is set up near the Fallbrook Golf Course in the 2700 block of Grid Road. Sheriff's ASTREA is also overheard assisting with the search.
