Local Motor Carrier Inspector Promoted-Vigo County

Vigo County—On Monday, February 16, 2015, Indiana State Police Motor Carrier Inspector Ronald E. Anglin of the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division was promoted to the position of District Coordinator by Indiana State Police Superintendent Douglas G. Carter. Anglin received his promotion following a competitive interview process.

In his new position, Anglin will be responsible for the training, supervision, and evaluation of Motor Carrier Inspector personnel, coordination of truck enforcement activities, and the supervision of portable scale operations, along with the permanent ISP scale facility on Interstate 70 near the one mile marker. Anglin is also required to perform his normal general Motor Carrier Inspector duties as well as any other duties that may arise as the District Coordinator.

District Coordinator Anglin is a seven year veteran of the ISP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division and a graduate of the Indiana State Police Motor Carrier Inspector Basic School. Anglin holds federal certifications in hazardous materials, cargo tanks, and as a Level I inspector. During his career, Anglin has received letters of appreciation for his work ethic and attention to detail.

Anglin is a Vigo County native, a graduate of Terre Haute North High School, and the C 1 Trucking School. He, his wife, and two children reside in Vigo County.
