Due to recent activity of human trafficking occurring along Long Beach Boulevard, in the city of Compton, Compton Sheriff’s Station personnel from the Special Assignments Office, Community Relations Team and Reserve Forces Bureau conducted a Human Trafficking Operation along Long Beach Boulevard. Our mission was to safely conduct this operation in efforts to deter and stop human trafficking.  This operation took place on February 13, 2015. The following are the results and names of arrestees that were charged with Loitering for the Purposes of Prostitution (P.C. 653.22(a)(1)).

•           8 females were arrested for Loitering for the Purposes of Prostitution (P.C. 653.22(a)(1)).

•           2 females were arrested for outstanding felony warrants.

•           No female juveniles were detained or arrested.

•           1 male was cited for a misdemeanor warrant.

•           There were no reported injuries.
